Panasonic TH-42PX77U
Customer review #1:
This is an excellent plasma, with a few annoyances.
Pro: Excellent HD picture, deep blacks, very little glare for a plasma, and very good speakers.
Con: It needs 2 cables to receive audio & video from my DVD player, since HDMI audio is not supported. And turning the closed captioning on and off is a pain.

Customer review #2:
The anti-reflective coating on this TV really works, and it is worth the extra money over the 75U model. This TV can also produce a nice sharp image on non-HD channels, as well as HD. I'd say this has the best quality to price ratio of any HDTV on the market.

Customer review #3:
I believe this TV, not some Vizio, offers the best bang for the buck in the HDTV world. The anti-glare coating really works, as I can watch this TV with the curtains wide open on a sunny day. It has a very vivid picture, with deep black levels, and displays standard definition TV very well.

Customer review #4:
The only real advantage of the PX77U over the PX75U is its extra effective anti-glare screen, which makes it about as reflective as an LCD TV. The other Panasonics all have the regular anti-glare coating which isn't nearly as effective.
