Pioneer's Latest: the KURO Series Plasmas

The KURO series is the eagerly awaited flagship TV in Pioneer's lineup. The most dramatic new feature of the KURO is the extreme pitch blackness of the black areas, where other 'top of the line' Plasmas would still show a little grayness. The 6010FD, 5010FD and 110FD are 1080p sets, and the 1150HD is 720p.

Pioneer's Current Plasma HDTV Lineup
Pioneer 60 Inch Plasma

Pioneer has developed a very strong following of people who consider their Plasmas to have by far the highest quality available. The 60 inch 6070 has a perfect feedback rating on Amazon, as of this writing, in August 2007.
Pioneer 50 Inch Plasma

Pioneer claims that the 5070's 720p resolution is as clear and sharp as any 1080p set from a normal viewing distance. The 5080 is the newer model, with more HDMI inputs, more video mode options, and a new Optimum Video Mode that adjusts the picture based on ambient light conditions.
Pioneer 42 Inch Plasma

The Pioneer PDP-4270HD has a stunning, clear picture that stays smooth even with fast-moving action on the screen. And the price can't be beat. The newer model is the 4280, which has the same upgrades as the 5080: more connectivity and functionalty.
