Panasonic's 50 inch Plasma selection includes a wide range of sets. The 600U series is the tried and true 2006 model with a steadily dropping price. The 75U, 77U, 700U and 750U sets are the 2007 models. The 700U has 1080p resolution. The 8UK is an HD-Ready monitor, without tuner, stand or speakers.

PANASONIC 42 inch Plasma

Panasonic's 42 inch Plasma range is similar to the 50 inch range. The 700U sports 1080p resolution (probably unnecessary for a 42 inch set) and has the latest and greatest "everything else". The 8UK series set is an HDTV monitor, without tuner, stand or speakers. And the 600U is still worth a look, while supplies last.

PANASONIC 37 inch 720p Plasma

The 37 inch Panasonics only include the 8UK and 9UK series. The UK seies of Plasmas are HD-ready monitors, which means they don't have built-in tuners, speakers, or a stand. If you have your own speakers, want to mount your HDTV on a wall, and don't watch over the air TV, check these out.
